When classes or practices are not being held, students may use the gym during the day. They must go to room 272 and leave their ID cards in exchange for use of the equipment.  Only SLC students may have access to our gym free of charge. 

- Any guests that are not SLC students cannot use the facility.

- We prefer that you reserve the gym in advance, however, if you come and the gym is not being used, you can have access by showing your Student ID.

- If you want to bring guests from outside the college, you need to reserve the gym in advance and will have to pay a fee of $25 per hour. (please note that we are currently revising our fee table, and this fee is subject to change)

- We ask you to be respectful of the gym and to use the locker rooms to leave your boots and coats.

Our fitness centre was last renovated in 2015 and offers our clientele up-to-date equipment that will answer all needs, from the beginner to the more experienced fitness enthusiast.

All registered SLC students, faculty and staff are members of the fitness centre.

It is possible for external clientele to get a membership, for more info please contact the Student Services Technician.

Our spinning room is adjacent to the Fitness Centre.  However, it is independent from it, to allow teachers to hold spinning classes while others use the rest of the fitness centre.  It is equipped with an independent audio visual system, so the teachers can use virtual reality during class.
