Taking the SAT

Taking the SAT
Students planning to go study in the States are generally required to complete one of two aptitude tests, the SAT or the ACT.
CEGEP Champlain-St. Lawrence is an SAT test center. Canadian students must follow the registration deadlines for international students. Students planning to take both the SAT and SAT Subject tests must do so on two separate testing days.
International test centers will no longer be open for January test dates. Students wishing to take the SAT twice, will have to plan to take the test in another location. Click here to view the calendar for 2019-2020.
Our test center is open for the December test date only.
Although St. Lawrence is an authorized testing center, you must register online at http://sat.collegeboard.org and pay your testing fees to the College Board.
Our test center code is 97261 (if you do not find our name on the list, you may also search by code). If you have any questions about the registration process, you may contact the Guidance Counsellor.
If you cannot find or do not have a high school code (post-secondary), you may enter the following number: 000004
