Recognition of Student Involvement

Recognition of Student Involvement
ARE YOU INVOLVED IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES? We would like to recognize this.
Make it count!
St. Lawrence officially recognizes student involvement in four (4) different areas:
Society/Community –The student has gained organizational, team work, interpersonal relations, empathy and leadership skills.
Entrepreneurship –The student has gained management, budgeting, marketing, leadership skills and is able to work independently.
Politics - The student has gained organizational, team work, interpersonal relations, empathy and leadership skills.
Sports/Health- The student has gained leadership skills, showed team spirit and has built self-esteem.
Cultural/Arts - The student demonstrates creativity, perseverance and is able to work independently.
If you have invested a minimum of 60 hours of volunteer (or unpaid) commitment in one or more of the above areas, you are eligible to apply.
By OFFICIAL RECOGNITION, we mean that a special mention appears on your academic transcript (bulletin d’études collégiales). This is very important, as it gives universities a more complete picture of you as a student and individual.
Recognition of Student Involvement Form
The deadlines for recognition of student involvement for a given semester are indicated on the form; however, if you have passed the deadline, your form may still be accepted. Please check with Joanne Gosselin in student services in room 272 or Nicole Anne Daigle in room 254.
